Travis Walker

Travis Walker was raised in Vestal NY, where he studied at Ballet Arts Theatre under the direction of Tina Christina-Price.

He has also studied with Central Pennsylvania Youth Ballet, Pacific Northwest Ballet, and the New York State Summer School of the Arts program.

In 2002 while dancing with the Usdan Center for Performing Arts, Travis was invited to join Ballet San Jose by Artistic/Executive Director Dennis Nahat.

His professional career has also included performing as a guest artist with the California Ballet, Second Hand Dance Company, Pointe of Departure under the direction of Karen Gabay and Raymond Rodriguez, BADCO., and several other Bay Area Schools.

In addition, Travis has also performed with Ballet San Jose School in the production of Silly Simon, The Ugly Duckling, and several School showcase performances.

In the summer of 2005, he accompanied the Ballet San Jose School and traveled to Italy to compete in the Grand Prix Italia where they won two first place awards.
