Harriet McMeekin began her dance training at the Maryland Youth Ballet in Bethesda, Maryland, at the age of 12. She also trained on scholarships at the Joffrey Ballet School (New York), the Boston Ballet School and the Boston Conservatory, where she graduated ‘magna cum laude’ with a BFA in Dance Performance.

She has danced with José Mateo’s Ballet Theatre (Cambridge, MA), Zoé Dance (Cambridge, MA), Bowen-McCauley Dance (Arlington, VA), and Oakland Ballet (Oakland, CA).
