Brieanna
Olson was raised in Colorado Springs, Colorado.
At nine, she received a leading role in Debbie Allen’s
and the Kennedy Center’s “Pepito’s
Story". At thirteen she began studying with German
Zamuel, winning numerous awards and scholarships with Denver
Ballet Guild and Youth
America Grand Prix (YAGP) including
the Grand Prix award in Denver, Colorado and YAGP NYC Finals.
She attended Washington
Ballet summer intensives for four
years on scholarship and the ABT
New York summer intensive.
In 2004 and 2005, Brieanna danced
the Grand Pas de Deux with Ivan
Putrov, principal of
the Royal Ballet, in Zamuel Ballet’s “The
Nutcracker.” She attended
Washington Ballet’s pre-professional school in 2006
performing in Septime
Webre’s “The
Nutcracker.”
Brieanna joins Ballet San Jose as an apprentice
in 2007.
