Beth Ann Namey

Beth Ann Namey, originally from Erie, Pennsylvania joined the company in 1998 and is in her tenth Season with Ballet San Jose.

She received her early training in her hometown of Erie, Pennsylvania at Lake Erie Ballet and The Robert Steele School of Ballet. She also studied at San Francisco Ballet School, Boston Ballet School, The Joffrey Ballet, and Juilliard.

Beth Ann's repertoire with Ballet San Jose includes roles such as Tsarina in Dennis Nahat's The Nutcracker and Lady Capulet in Romeo & Juliet. Other featured performances include: Blue Suede Shoes, Giselle, Il Distratto, Baker's Dozen, Les Sylphides, The Firebird, Phaedra, Quicksilver, Shinju, Coppelia, Hallelujah Junction, Go Daddy O!, House of Tears, Theme and Variations, the Four Temperments, Carman, Mendelssohn Symphony, A Midsummer Night’s Dream and Swan Lake.
