The 2008-09 season opens with THE TOREADOR, a ballet in two acts by the legendary August Bournonville with new and re-adapted choreography by Flemming Flindt. Ballet Heere are just a few of the reviews from the last performance of The Toreador: “...a sparkling, lighthearted production.” "THE TOREADOR is as family oriented as THE NUTCRACKER. It has dancing aplenty and enough distractions to keep children entertained. More important, it is a company piece, using [both] children and adults..." “...buoyant entertainment...a delightful showcase.” “Olé for S.J. Ballet’s Toreador” “...performed to perfection...” Choreography: FLINDT - BOURNONVILLE |
