These performances are not scaled-down versions of the productions; they are performed with the regular company of dancers and a full crew with sets, lights, and sound. The Nutcracker and The Firebird are performed at the 2,500 seat Center for the Performing Arts, while the Tinderbox is performed at the California Theatre.

Each performance rings with the sounds of laughter, applause and appreciation at each of these special performances. Last year over 6,000 students attended one of these matinees.
